About Us

Welcome to our mountain haven! I'm Jim, and together with my wife and youngest son, we're the proud stewards of a sprawling woodland nestled in the heart of the mountains. Our days are richly woven with the rhythms of nature and the rewarding work of managing this rugged terrain. From skillfully felling timeworn trees and transforming them into lumber to meticulously maintaining the winding roads that traverse our property, each task is a step in our journey. Currently, we're channeling our passion and craftsmanship into our most ambitious project yet – building a charming log home from the ground up. Join us as we share our adventures, insights, and the serene beauty of mountain living.
